Bed & Brew Package 2009/2010 The Inn at Cooperstown is a beautifully restored 1874 historic hotel located in the heart of Cooperstown. Brewery Ommegang is an award winning Belgian styled brewery located in the idyllic countryside just outside the village of Cooperstown. Friday night- arrive at The Inn for Craft Beer Night. All of you home brewers are welcome to bring a few bottles of your own beer to share with everyone. If you're not a home brewer, bring your favorite beer to share with others. Guests can mingle with the Ommegang brewmaster and share stories of their love of beer with other beer enthusiasts in our comfortable parlors. Or, take a trip back in time and enjoy a stroll down Main Street Cooperstown. Stop by Nicoletta’s Italian Café to save 5% off your meal or receive one free drink per person with each paid meal at the "The Pit" - the Tunnicliff 's underground restaurant and tavern on Pioneer St. On Saturday wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at The Inn at Cooperstown before heading out to the local sights. Take a short walk and visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame or a short drive to Howe Caverns and see where Brewery Ommegang cave ages select beers annually.
The shuttle bus will depart the Inn promptly at 4:30 pm for the reception at Brewery Ommegang where you can mingle with other guests and have the opportunity to meet the brew master and several key Brewery Ommegang staff members before embarking on a VIP guided tour of the brewery. Belgian’s are well known for pairing their exciting finely crafted beers with culinary delights to bring out the best of both. A gourmet multi-course beer and food pairing dinner will be presented at the brewery and hosted by the brew master. The brew master will describe the Belgian beer making philosophy and brew process along with answering any questions you may have. Cap off the event with a limited edition Hennepin jeroboam specially labeled to commemorate the event and signed by the Brewery Ommegang brewmaster. Ommegang has not offered the jeroboam in many years, so this is indeed a rare treat! The package also includes a Hennepin beer flute and Ommegang sweatshirt.
