Every year, the day after Thanksgiving, Santa Claus makes his first appearance of the year on Cooperstown Main Street. Welcomed by a parade, with Christmas lights, Santa is greeted by locals and tourists alike at his cottage. Families will be able to visit Santa starting the day after Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve.

Experience the magic of the season with the glow of holiday lights surrounding you at The Farmers’ Museum. The landscape of the museum is dressed indecorative greenery and set aglow with hundreds of candle luminaries. Listen to the sounds of jingle bells as horses dressed in ornate harnesses pull wagonscarrying visitors through a winter wonderland. Stay warm by gathering around the bonfire and sip on a complimentary glass of wassail, a popular local holiday drink.
