Itinerary

January 13 – 15, 2023

Arrive at The Inn at Cooperstown and check in any time from 3 pm on. Enjoy a stroll down Main Street Cooperstown and stop by Nicoletta’s Italian Café to save 5% off your meal. Or take a short ride to one of Cooperstown’s best brew pubs – Council Rock Brewery and save $5 on a beverage of your choice. The Cooperstown Distillery Beverage Exchange, owned and operated by the Cooperstown Distillery, is a great place to visit on a Friday evening as they offer locally crafted spirits, beer, wine, ciders, and on occasion live music.

Return by 6 pm for the Friday night MEET & GREET evening gathering in the Den here at the inn on the first floor from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Bring some of your favorite beer to share with others! There will be finger food snacks included.

On Saturday wake up to the smell of freshly brewed coffee and get your grab-and-go breakfast at The Inn at Cooperstown before heading out to the local sights. You will have plenty of time to take in the National Baseball Hall of Fame Museum, the Cooperstown Farmers Market, the Cooperstown Distillery, or any of the other attractions the beautiful village of Cooperstown has to offer.

The shuttle bus will depart the inn promptly at 6:00 PM for Brewery Ommegang. Belgians are well known for pairing their exciting finely crafted beers with culinary delights to bring out the best of both. A gourmet multi-course beer and food pairing dinner will be presented at the brewery and hosted by a brewer. The brewer will describe the Belgian beer-making philosophy and brew process along with answering any questions you may have.

Cap off the event with an exclusive, commemorative, custom growler filled with your choice of on-tap Ommegang beer. This growler is made specifically for the Bed & Brew package ONLY and is not available anywhere else. Indeed a rare treat!

Join us for another grab-and-go breakfast complete with our homemade muffins and signature blend coffee crafted just for the inn by Stagecoach Coffee. Wrap up your weekend with a stroll around the village or a visit to a Cooperstown attraction that you missed on Saturday.

The pilot system at Ommegang provides the brewers with the opportunity to bring ideas to life through ongoing process improvements and trials. Per the staff at Ommegang, “our innovation program focuses on the development of beers that as a team we’ve decided we’d like to pursue for large-scale production”.

A minimum of 20 guests is required for each Bed & Brew date. If the minimum is not met we will contact you and offer an alternative date or a no-charge cancellation.

Prices do not include tax.

When notice of a cancellation or change in a reservation is provided 15 days or more in advance of the arrival date, a full refund less a $25 processing fee will be made. When notice of a cancellation or change is provided 14 days or less from the arrival date the guest is responsible for the charges for the Saturday evening festivities and dinner at Ommegang as well as the lodging charges for the package. A refund is subject to re-booking of the reserved package without loss to The Inn at Cooperstown. Vacancies caused by late arrivals or early departures are considered to be cancellations and are subject to the cancellation policy as described.
