Glimmerglass Festival

Maybe one of the most beloved Cooperstown summer events, the Glimmerglass Festival brings a variety of original productions and rarely performed operas to our small town. Hall of Fame Classic

Kick off summer Memorial Day weekend with a true classic; The Hall of Fame Classic. Spectators will enjoy a seven-inning legends game featuring Hall of Famers and former major league players. The event is held at the Historic Doubleday Field.

Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend

Another notable Cooperstown summer event is the Baseball Hall of Fame Induction Weekend. Held in July during the annual Induction Ceremony at the Clark Sports Center. Typically, more than four dozen Hall of Famers annually return for this event, with the weekend filled with fun activities and things to do. Admission to the ceremony is free and is televised live on MLB Network.

Cooperstown Summer Music Festival

Since 1999, the Cooperstown Music Festival has offered more than 100 concerts, featuring various artists and genres such as jazz, classical, and bluegrass. In July and August, Cooperstown hosts a variety of concerts and performances. Be sure to check their schedule for all upcoming events.

Cooperstown Lakefront Concert Series

Every summer, on Tuesdays at 7 PM, the historic bandstand at Lakefront Park lights up with musical performances for all to experience. Admission is always free, so bring your chair or blanket and relax amongst the starts on the shores of Otsego Lake for an evening of musical entertainment.

Ommegang concerts

Mark your calendars for Brewery Ommegang’s summer concert series. Every year, Brewery Ommegang hosts an all-star lineup of well-known musical performers to its 136-acre farmstead. Past performers included Elvis Costello, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Death Cab for Cutie (coming in June 2019).
